After much anticipation, Pure Taqueria Columbus has finally opened! Before opening to the public, we celebrated this exciting time with the friends and family members of our Pure Team! For the first time we shared our favorite things about Pure with Columbus: Fresh Ingredients, Amazing Margaritas, Personable Service, Handmade Tortillas… and Tres Leches (of course). Now, more than a week after opening, we’re feeling incredibly fortunate for the support this community has provided us with. Thank you for your enthusiasm, anticipation, and love for this company and for our Team! We can’t wait to see where this journey takes us!

Hacienda Herradura: Behind the Scenes

Every so often our PURE Team has the opportunity to visit the Herradura Hacienda in Jalisco, Mexico to handpick the next barrels of Herradura Double Barrel Tequila for Pure. While the Double Barrel didn’t start as the star margarita, it has become one of our best-selling top-shelf margaritas over the years ultimately making us the top seller of Herradura east of the Mississippi!

Oaxaca: Sticking to our Roots

One of the things that sets Pure apart is our desire to remain true to traditional Mexican roots. Corporate Chef, Carlos Cisneros, originally from Monterrey, Mexico, has a desire to bring even more traditional cuisine to Pure. This past month, Carlos and one of Pure's owners, Michele Sedgwick, took a week-long trip to Guadalajara and Oaxaca for a little research and development.

The Giving Kitchen

During the month of August, PURE taqueria took part in fundraising for The Giving Kitchen to aid Atlanta area restaurant workers facing unanticipated hardships. Throughout the month, our Guests helped us us raise over $7,000 through donations, purchases of Dos Equis and our Giving Cocktail made with Camarena tequila, and special fundraising events.
